The Quasar 3C 273 FT engine is unique in its kind: it has the distinction of being able to operate under low voltage or high voltage, and to use only a few milliamperes.

The engine produces electrical energy (230 volts to 3600 volts) without using an alternative source of energy (sun, wind, water or fuel) over a period of 11 years of operation.
