LThe Emerald Table is one of the best known texts in the Esoteric and Alchemical tradition. According to tradition, this tablet engraved in an Emerald was found in the tomb of Hermès Trismégiste, the Greek founding father of Alchemical practices. This does not mean, moreover, that he was the author of this text, but he certainly used it very widely. Like many Greek thinkers and philosophers, the sources of inspiration, not to say the sources of information, very often came from Egypt.
