En 1960, the legitimate and democratic government led by Patrice Lumumba was overthrown. This bloody overthrow put an end to the democratization process in the nascent Congolese Republic. The Western powers having decided and ordered the end of this democratic process, committed an imprescriptible crime against the people.the Congolese: since then, the children of this country have never had the possibility of living in a democracy or of electing freely, in peace, the leaders of their choice.

This could well have been the promise made to the Congolese by the Belgian king Leopold II. It was the Berlin conference in 1885 which formalized the grabbing of the Congo which had been brewing for 10 years, " behind the elegant smoke curtain of its International African Association »1 , with allegedly philanthropic aims, then replaced by the International Association of Congo.
In 1876 the Association was founded following the International Geography Conference in Brussels by Leopold II. He had many supports and approvals for this company whose goal was officially to open roads and hospital, scientific and pacifying stations. to abolish slavery. And this is how he was able to set foot everywhere around the Congo River with violence and spoliations, through close collaboration with the explorer Stanley. And all this by selling globally to other Western countries, in turn a humanitarian or tourist project.
