Lhe foundations of vaccine theory are crumbling as science reveals the uselessness of antibodies to fight viruses; As the medical, pharmaceutical, and vaccine industries busily campaign for new vaccines against virtually every disease under the Sun, a new study published in the journal Immunity totally deconstructs all vaccine theory. It turns out that in the body's natural immune system, both innate and adaptive components work together to ward off disease, without the need for antibody-producing vaccines.
As part of the adaptive immune system, the theory behind vaccines says that they mimic infection by causing B cells, one of the immune system's two main types of white blood cells, to make antibodies. It is widely accepted that the antibodies induced by vaccines, which are the most specific part of the adaptive immune system, teach the immune system how to respond directly to an infection before the body is exposed to it.
But the new study highlights the fact that innate immunity plays an important role in fighting infections, and may be more important than adaptive immunity in preventing or fighting infections. In tests, it has been shown that the antibodies of the adaptive immune system are incapable of fighting infection as such. In essence, this debunks the theory that the antibodies induced by vaccines serve some function founded in the prevention or control of infections.
