On wants us to believe that it is bad for our health to have a diet without milk, supposedly because we will not get enough vitamins and minerals. And that if we don't get enough calcium then our bones will simply break down and then we will collapse. At least, that's what the dairy companies are trying to make us believe.
Lactose intolerance
Milk is a nutritious food, but people are completely unaware of the diseases for which it is responsible. Many people have a very low tolerance for milk, especially those that don't produce a lot of lactase (the digestive enzyme that digests milk sugar, lactose. Most importantly, milk sold at the grocery store, because that it has been pasteurized (heat treatment), the enzymes contained naturally are sensitive to the temperature thus destroyed. People tolerate even less the milk bought in store. On the other hand, the alternatives like rice milk and soy milk are even worse. Allergists sometimes report that many people have an allergy or sensitivity to dairy products when they don't even know it. There are 19 symptoms that include gastrointestinal pain, diarrhea, and gas because people lack the enzymes that digest lactose. In addition, due to the side effects, those who drink milk are also at risk of chronic diseases and additional infections. Milk is an acidifying animal protein. Like any animal food rich in protein, milk can potentially trigger a protective biological response to neutralize all damaging acidic proteins before it reaches the kidneys. The body is designed for survival, so it sacrifices bone density to protect the kidneys and the urinary tract because they are essential for survival. And the source of acid neutralization is more readily available in bones. Thus, even if the milk contains calcium, it ends up depleting the bones of this essential mineral.
