La Kabbalah (from the Hebrew קבלה Qabbala "reception", anglicized form written rather Cabbale or Qabale in French) is an esoteric tradition of Judaism, presented as the "Oral and secret law" given by YHWH (God) to Moses on the mount Sinai, together with the "Written and Public Law" (the Torah). It finds its source in the mystical currents of ancient synagogal Judaism.
