Lhen he described the feeling as prayer, the Tibetan abbot made it clear this eternal wisdom that was lost to the West long ago. Therefore, it is probably obvious that the central theme of this chapter is prayer as feeling. Adopting this principle, we have been transmitted the extraordinary secret of seeing each of our prayers answered, without ever being disappointed. The bottom line is that we have to become what we choose to experience in our life. If we seek love, compassion, understanding, and presence, we must develop these qualities within us so that the Spirit of God can reflect them back to us in our relationships. If we desire abundance, we must feel gratitude for the abundance already present in our life.
