Lhe origins must be sought in Antiquity. The Mysteries of Greece and Egypt had in their initiation rites the same precepts, the most important of which was engraved on the main door of the Temple of Delphi. The name of the capital of France would come from this great figure of the Egyptian pantheon. PARIS would stem from BAR-ISIS (the boat of Isis), because the first representation of the Dark Lady would have arrived on a ship going up the Seine to the Ile de la Cité.
This would explain, moreover, why the coat of arms of the city carries a boat in its arms. Obviously this is not the official explanation. Paris undoubtedly has two stories. The one you learn in textbooks or tourist guides and the other, as old as the city and all in darkness, that of unusual events, spells and black masses.
