THEUnion des femmes africaines (UFA) of Belgium awarded this prize to seven laureates of African origin who have distinguished themselves in different fields.
The tenth edition of the women's action prize was held on the 30 January, during a gala evening at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels. On this occasion, Chouna Lomponda (DRC), Isabelle Kibassa Maliba (DRC), Michelle Mupika (DRC), Adèle Simo (Cameroon), Fatou Sarr (Senegal), Fériel Berraies Guigny (Tunisia) and Patricia Kipiani (Cameroon) were rewarded for their exceptional journey. The price of women's action, it is argued, highlights initiatives in favor of African women by African women or women from elsewhere.
