CElement Shala, a Congolese from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) has developed an electro-brazier that he invented from salvaged parts. The engine is made from parts recovered from cassette and CD radios. This engine operates a fan that activates the combustion of the embers, itself made up of coal residue that no one uses. The motor is powered by 2 used electric batteries.
Until now, the majority of Congolese cook with charcoal, an expensive fuel for the majority of Congolese and especially very unecological. As the author of the brazier says, his invention makes it possible to limit the felling of trees for a year.
