VAngelia, nicknamed Baba Vanga (which means grandmother Vanga), was born on October 3, 1911 in the Ottoman Empire and died on August 11, 1996 (aged 84) in Bulgaria. Baba Vanga was blinded at the age of twelve by “love at first sight” while she was in a field with two of her cousins. A violent tornado that lifted her like a leaf and threw her against a tree several tens of meters from where she was. There are other famous examples where the loss of sight is associated with the acquisition of clairvoyance: The Greek seer Tiresias, the seer Calchas (the Iliad of Homer) were blind. The prophet Baba Vanga, who died in 1996, was known as the Nostradamus of the Balkans, no doubt thanks to the success of his predictions which exceed 85% accuracy. She has long been revered in Russia and Europe and is seen as a supernatural saint.
The “Messengers”
Vanga perceived the presence of the “Messengers” who came to convey information to him. She believed herself to be one of the only people in the world to perceive their presence, as the messengers themselves told her that she was their most direct connection to the earth, the others being simply less powerful than her. She could smell them as they filled the room with a powerful light. Sometimes they formed a circle around her, before giving her access to a wider level of perception. She believed that they had the power to control and influence the whole of humanity, but that they would do so only when absolutely necessary. They spoke to him in an authoritative and strong voice “We are going to talk about the future of humanity, but you will not have the right to repeat what we are going to teach you.Vanga said “They control us.”
