What we denounce is the plagiarism of the African culture of our ancestors. In fact, we find it legitimate that historical truth be re-established and that our cultural heritage be returned to us. So, we believe that what African-American actors are asking for first are not just rewards (even if they deserve them) but respect for our symbols and the restoration of their original meaning.
