THEAfrican Union (AU) and China signed, on January 27 in Addis Ababa, a memorandum of understanding relating to a pharaonic infrastructure project intended to connect the African capitals by roads, high-speed trains, and services aerial.
AU Commission Chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma and Chinese Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Zhang Ming signed the memorandum of understanding, which also includes a section on the industrialization of the continent.
