AAt the beginning of his life, up to the age of twelve or fourteen, the mentality of the child is hardly accessible to abstract notions and general ideas; yet he can be accustomed to understanding them by using concrete images, symbols and parables. Until a fairly advanced age, and for some who mentally still remain children, a story, a tale, a story, well told, teaches much more than a quantity of theoretical explanations.
